Adriana Olaya Rodriguez  is a passionate design thinker. She graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia with a BA in Industrial Design, followed by an MSc in Eco-Design from the Politecnico di Torino in Italy. She also recently finished the Oxford Leading Sustainable Corporations Program from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Along with her academic background in systemic design and sustainability, Adriana has a proven track record in business storytelling and design research.

In 2015, Adriana was selected to be the Sustainability Reporter of the Nudge Sustainable Hub to write reports about sustainable projects in Colombia and around the world. In 2016, she won a place as Bluebook trainee at the DG Agri of the European Commission to help develop the rural development programs for Italy, Malta and Hungary. This was followed in 2017 by a research stay funded by the program ‘International Climate Protection Fellowship for young climate experts from developing countries’ of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to conduct research on her two favorite topics: design and sustainable consumption. 

She have been working for over 10 years providing strategic guidance on a broad range of projects for different organizations and NGO's like UNICEF and UNDP, and different companies across sectors including food & beverage, cosmetics and personal care, consumer goods, luxury, and pharma.

 

In 2019 she joined Quantis, a sustainability consultancy firm and today she is the Stakeholder Engagement Global lead. Her job is to guide top organizations to define, shape, and implement intelligent and credible environmental sustainability programs and engage their stakeholders to achieve a real positive change using science-driven communications, engagement and behavior change strategies and plans.
